What can’t go in a skip?
Not everything can go in a skip, the following need to be disposed of separately in special waste collections:
- Aerosols
- Tyres
- Plasterboard
- Food Waste
- Televisions
- Computer monitors
- Fridges/Freezers
- Hazardous Waste
- Full paint cans
- Gas Canisters
Make sure you get the right size skip
Don't overfill your skip as we may not be able to safely transport it. Skips have a fill line and over filling a skip, even with allowable waste will cause problems. If you have a lot of rubbish to clear, to be on the safe side, order a larger size.
